Makan Mania, the day i know where the hell Short street is, realised that there is such a dumb dumb carpark named "Golden shoe carpark", ran round China town like over five times in a row when i nv ever touch its floor for years, raced through the rain instinctively searching for smith street, cross roads, bridges and mainly the "Orange ppl."

Well for starters, Makan Mania is like Shi Zhi Ru Kou, where u must link food names together from the starting food to the ending food. And in the mist of finding the food items, u have to complete road blocks and some challenges to earn points. The earlier the group reach the final point and hit the gong, the more points they receive. And the overall highest scoring group gets away with $250!!! SO thanks to Jansen again, two groups of 4 from 05s5b decided to join in the competition which lasted the whole Saturday. And we even had a food list of watever food we brainstormed for every letter from A to Z! And my group was the J.K.J.K! consisting of JAMIE, Kristal and the dumb dumbs (jansen and kimsoon).

After giving some thought, joining Makan Mania is SO WORTHWHILE! Like y will i Not join??!! Firstly, I get a FREE Polo T-shirt! And its so CUTE with a hungry vampire monster cartoon picture holding two spoons upright printed at the back!!!
Secondly, I got a free badge with the J.K.J.K group name which is DAM COOL!

And lastly, I get $14 total to buy all my food for the competition and keep the remainings!!! Moreover the food that we bought we all like 1 dollar each and we got to eat some free food on the way. HAHAHA I'm so clever!!!

Okok.. now to the real stuff. The Game begins!!!

The first pit stop was the Library, and I have to complete this first road block before our group can get the name of our first food item. ITS SHIT! OMG i have to find like ONE piece of THIN and SMALL dumb dumb piece of clue hidden in btw ONE bk out of HUNDREDS of chinese books containing like MILLIONS of dust mites since NOBODY EVER TOUCH THEM- ALL except me!!! Its like nv ending.. I thot i will nv find it since its one whole shelf and there r two sides of the shelf, each side containing one piece of clue. And i can miss the clue since its JUST one piece of paper. I have to take the bks 1 by 1 and flip through them and breath in all those dust. DISGUSTING!!! And no one can help me~~~ Then we tried making an aliance, when hui ting and another group member came to my shelf and help me search for it. ITs really testing of ur patience, especially when other groups alr found theirs and set out with their food name.... CRappy crappy crappy.... but I FINALLY found that stupid piece of paper after 1 over hour! The first team left like 40 minutes before me~

After that we had to run from sch all the way to serangoon central (and i thot 2.4 was over) to eat our packet of Khar Quey Teow! Haha And there Kim soon did his road block, WHICH is not really any difficult task- Its just memorising of beans pattern..................... LIKE OMG! DAM UNFAIR. Yeah and from there we got a next clue which lead us to china town and require us to get a HALA food item that starts with W and find some ulu place which nobody know. ..

Then its WRONG DIRECTIONS... wrong directions!! And more wrong directions!!!!.... WE were running in circles in the rain searching for orange T-shirts... Then finally!!! Kim soon found them near the hawker centre in ppl's park. We were the 3rd team to arrive!! HAHA. HAHA dam power! ANd we bought our Hala food- one quarter of Water melon. Well, Almost all of it was eatern up by the great Kristal, and she had to keep hiding from the videa cameror while gobbling up the red stuff.. ANd there we had to guess 20 diff food items acted out by Jansen PAng. That was the 3rd road block--> Hai... Y did i chose to do the first one??!!!

Ok THIS was dam funny!!! Jansen was just drawing rectangles for everything! And he pointed to the watermelon when he tried to tell us that the food is RED!! Like OMG again! And from there we had to guess it... Haha and also at parts like the banana split, ang gu kwai, chee chong fun, mini conneto.. U must really see him picturing them out.. dam funni.. Hahaha =X

After that was more running and asking for wrong directions.. We finally took a cab since its also a Public transport =D when we didn't manage to find out where the hell is short street. The whole race brought us everywhere from China town to Dohbi Gaut, then boat quey, raffles place, little india and finally the Esplanate!

The last pit stop- First time in my life, I ran from cityhall Mrt all the way to the Durian couple, ignoring the crowds of ppl strolling through citylink. AND that was a true test of thick-skinness!

And when we thot the worst was over.. Four of us had to place our hands into boxes and try to guess watever food is in it. If we got the food wrong, we had to eat watever is inside. And sadly, everyone got it wrongly except JAnsen! Like WOW... can u believe it??!! He took out his hand and saw green sauce.. so he guessed Wasabei sauce and its correct! WTH!! Unfair unfaIR unFaIr Unfair!!! And MIne was a BEE!!! ITS A BEE!!! IMAGINE!!! Like I will ever eat it...... its SHIT! And i actually touched those and squeezed it. OMG... I think i almost screamed when i opened the dam box.. its totally disgusting!! GROSS!!! Like hu will ever guess it right? So in the end Jansen sacrificed himself and ate the BEE for me. Haha ..He's my dearest savior! Maybe i will die after eating that.. I dun think i can do it.. and its truely, really dam disgusting... Jansen is the best! =D

Kristal and Kim soon both just had to drink some juice- Kim chee and cactus juice...

And at 545pm.. after some hours of grueling competition, we found the gong under the bridge near esplanate and Hit it hard! YES!!! Gong* GOng* gong! YEH! ITS OVer!

Overall J.K.J.K team has the third higest score!!! We ROCK! And even though only the first team got a prize, my face is on the nan yang website photos. WAHAHA, such a pretty face.. orh........
